can you imagine the crowds and money that would flow in, if perry re- joined. they better hurry cuz they are not getting any younger...

If Steve wanted to be in Journey then he WOULD be
-
The absolute bottom line is loyalty, I know Steve. Journey had been through a lot. When Neal (the Grinch who stole Journey) told Steve that they were not waiting for him to heal from his accident that he had in Hawaii. (What a tool )That was the the end for Steve. Neal Schon is a greedy selfish jerk. He never wanted Steve in the band at the beginning, Then road his coat tails out of mediocrity to stardom. Whats in a name? well if your Steve Perry everything, If your Journey today, Not much.

Was this him singing in 2009 or whatever? :( I miss him :((

Steve Perry did not want to sing anymore its not that anybody replaced him. Neil Schon and the guys and the band begged him to come back and he wouldnt even speak to them. Now he see how successful they are with their great singer from the Philippines he misses it. No doubt about Mr. Perry is a great talent.

ok i guess i'm a little out of touch! i always thought Steve Perry left Journey because he had throat cancer and couldn't sing anymore. needless to say i'm shocked he's still singing! but extremely happy about it!!! i saw Journey in 2008 and they were great! love that soulful voice i call it rock n soul! but no one can sang like Steve! there's only one who i like better and that's Michael Jackson <3 4ever!!

Steve Perry, must say this, he rules.

@dharmaseed i wonder how much of that was steve being a diplomat vs. merit based
-
@dharmaseed I think your mistaken by terms..sure the guitar and keys were added to Steve's lyrics thus giving them credit for a song. I think Steve was a poet similar to Jim Morrison but with differant style in his words...
He wrote the words to the songs not Neil or anyone else...they did the music
It's common to see other band members put their name on a song they helped make...but written I'm affraid not, that was all Steve Perry.
Steve Perry is in a class all of his own. When God made Steve...He broke the mold.

No one can replace Mr. Steve Perry. There really is no Journey without Steve. This man has this extra ordinary voice and my God, the notes that he can hit just makes you melt. I just wish him all the luck in the world in whatever he chooses to do, but just a note that he is missed tremendously.
