Hong Kong Profile:
Population: 94.9% Chinese, 2.1% Filipino, 0.8% Indonesian, 2.2% all other ethnic groups.
Languages spoken: Cantonese (mother tongue), English and Putonghua (Mandarin).
The international part of Hong Kong is very small: Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), Central, Mid-Levels, Soho and Wanchai contain the main shops, cinemas, dining venues and bars patronized by expatriates. This means that it is not unusual to run into friends whilst out shopping or eating. In this respect, it retains a community feel, despite having many of the trappings of a much larger city.

Good video but it would be good to have subtitles throughout the whole video, not just when the students and teachers speak.
As I'm sure you are aware, not everyone watching this video will have perfect English language skills and therefore might switch off before getting to the part where the students and teachers start speaking.
i am learning Mandarin and know for sure that videos with subtitles make a big difference to my attention span. Just a thought!

Thanks for that. As you will no doubt have noticed, we have students from around the world studying with us here at Q Language and nobody has mentioned that they didn't understand the voiceover in the early part of the video. That doesn't necessarily mean that they fully understood everything though.
You make a good point and we shall try and upload a new version with full subtitles soon.
Thanks for your input, we appreciate it. :0)

I've actually been to this language school in Hong Kong and I have to say that i had a great time! The teachers and admin staff were really friendly and helpful. And, just like the video shows, the other students were from all over the world. I met some very nice people and was more than happy with the course I did. Thanks again to everyone there!
