This is a surprisingly lively and energetic yirdaki, something that punches well above its weight. The bore in the neck region is narrow and gradually flares out into a good size bell at the distal end... the result is tremendously good backpressure with the sort of Lamborghini grunt you would expect from a high-octane speedster. And speed does it have!
Arnold Djunbiya Marika gives this a short spin around the race track :-)
An unusual feature of this stick is the interval between the fundamental and overtones notes, yet the overtone comes with ease and can be fired in rapid succession. It would appeal to those who like a deep, fog-horn overtone - great for fast percussive playing with complex syncopations.

I just posted one of the Dhalinybuy Yumurrku videos as a response to this as Arnold plays on there as well, so you can see his playing in context with song and dance.
