Nana Mouskouri - Amazing Grace 2011
Amazing Grace" is a Christian hymn
with words written by the English poet and clergyman John Newton (1725--1807), published in 1779
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
What a shame that Nana has to do this - she is obviously miming to a recording she did many years ago when her voice was so pure. I really love the Nana I hear singing on the many recordings I have, and I know she can still sing very well, but personally I don't like it when singers mime to their old recordings - it seems so false. Sorry Nana - but I don't think your dress does you any favours either.

@allergic5 Gosh, that's an old playback she uses here. That's not her 2011er voice... obviously not.
