This band's staple diet was mainstream rock with some arty pop leanings. Their "From Scratch" album had a couple of tracks with more progressive leanings: 'Rayge' and 'Sole Survivor'. This latter song was about the escape from the coming war with a time machine and culminated in some fine guitar work imitating time machine travel! There are reasonable stabs at Rare Bird's 'Beautiful Scarlet' and Russ Ballard's 'Liar'. They also covered another Rare Bird song, 'Redman', which dealt with the fate of the American Indians. The "Liar" album is a compilation of their recordings from 1972 and 1973.
Kenny Rowe had earlier been in The Moments and both he and Tony Ferguson had been in Harmony Grass. Joe Williams and Dave Nevin may also have been later members of Harmony Grass, whilst Roger Willis had played with The Gremlins. Willis, White and Ferguson went on to Krazy Kat in 1976.
'Wake Up Little Sister' later surfaced on the "One More Chance" compilation.

Hi Hayley, it's been a lifetime since I saw Joe and Kenny, would love to get in touch with Joe. Parking Lot did not morph into harmony Grass, Tony Rivers and the Castaways became Harmony Grass, Joe and Brian left Parking Lot to join Harmony Grass, after that Mick Claxton, keyboards left, parking lot carried on with a girl named Ellie on Keyboards, Tony something on vocals and Chaz Wade on drums and me on bass,

I made a boob in my earlier post about Sparrow. In fact when Stu Calver and Tony Harding left they were replaced by Steve Stroud and Dave Nevin,

Does anyone know what happened to Ray Lewis who was in Krazy Kat? I knew him well loved the band and their music. They were all reallynice people

I have both Krazy Kat albums and the line up was Tony Ferguson and Graham White on Guitar and vocals, roger Bradley Willis, Drums and vocal, Ray Lewis, bass and Vocals and Harry McDonald Keyboards and vocals. Both KK and CB were really underated bands and I had the pleasure of seeing Capability Brown twice and met the band who were such lovely people. Dave Nevin wasn't in Sparrow. They were John Milton, Tom Marshall , Stuart Calver, Brian Hudson and Tony "H" Harding.Another good band !!

@Seibukitanodai - Hi Michael, no Joe wasn't in Krazy Kat. The ex Capes in Krazy Kat were Tony Ferguson, Roger Willis, Kenny Rowe and the late Grahame White. That left Dave Nevin and Joe. I think Dave Nevin formed a group called Sparrow. I don't know what happened to Joe. I saw Capability once and Krazy Kat either once or twice. Both were great bands. A friend saw Capability towards the end of their days and said a couple of them almost had a fight on stage...all because one of them was too loud.
