Great stuff! Not Bob's favorite musical style (he disdained r'n'r, for the most part, but this is cool in that he loved to play sax, piano, sing and make fun of bass players!

I grew up in Chillicothe with Flippo on the tube, I do not remember him swinging but it makes sense, he was a cool cat baby! The crew cuts nearly everybody was sporting in those days, late 50s to the early 60s.

Richie DiCenzo on Tenor, I think. This friggin ROCKS!

He was a true genius. Used to come into the Bavarian Haus restaurant bar every night when he got off of work. I worked in the kitchen as a kid at $1.75 an hour (they were Ohio republicans). I aspire to be a cheap Flippo knockoff. I miss Flippo. Can you imagine Flippo and Mack Sennett working together?

How can you not love a clown on bongos!?

Flippo introduced me to the world....of laughter and insight to the workings of the mind. And I had Jonathan Winters to add to these things, too. Both were at WBNS-TV at the very same time. No wonder I'm the way I am now.
