Somebody please explain to me why this music isn't the most popular on US commercial radio?! It seems to me this is real american music, not the trash they feed listeners 24/7

This is such a great group! This song makes you want to tap your foot so hard that you'll break all of your toes. :-D

@szatmar666 it is because most people in this country have lost the part of their soul that feels.

Lord! This is great music! You have to be politician not to like this. And yes that was a dig on those rock sliders. Oh..and I think I'm in love with that gal on the right.

Old-Timey fiddling is simply the best. It has so much energy and soul in it. That's why I'm posting lessons featuring Appalachian style fiddling on my channel. I just did one on Candy Girl. The sheet music is at my website too, FiddlinMike. com. Maybe I should do this tune....Great fiddling

Im proud to be born from the birthplace of great mountain music!!
Not sure of the song name or if they have recorded it - but the fiddler player is Pharis Ramero for sure (isn't she awesome??) I am pretty sure the banjo player is Jason Ramero - Pharis's husband - I think they played in a band called Outlaw social and they now have a band called "The Haints"

Hi! Yes, it's Pharis on fiddle but the banjo player is not her hubby Jason, it's Outlaw Social bandmate Oliver Swain. Pharis, Jason and Erynn (Marshall) are "The Haints", an awesome old-time band, everyone should buy their CD "Shout Mona", nominated for a 2009 Canadian Folk Music Award (as was ours "Relative Minors").
