this is just too much mercury

Guys, elemental mercury doesn't give off toxic fumes, and I'm guessing that's what this is. Processed mercury used in factories and things is the stuff you don't wanna mess with.

How's he not dead?

@Kylef7735 In the same sense that every liquid above absolute zero can be considered molten, you're right, but the word is never used that way, and you know it. Water is never spoken of as being "molten", likewise alcohol, liquid helium, or mercury. But if it's importent to you that you're "technically" right, then I concede.

why the fuck is there a standing tub of mercury? that is my first question.
and my second question is why the hell does that guy not have on a fucking mask of some sorts, or even better why the hell is he even in the room

@blametruthfan That video is bullshit...

This same effect is what lighthouses depended on. the huge lamps inside the towers would sit on a bowel of mercury, in big storms sometimes it could become lodged and the mercury spill out, they would have to scoop it up with dustpan and brushes... filter it with a cloth and poor it back in. All this during an immense storm so as they could get the light spinning again and save lives... toxic fumes?? nobody gave a shit

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume this guy knew full well about the dangers of mercury vapors and precautions were taken. He's not some 13 year old dimwit in a basement. I don't think you house a vat of fucking mercury without knowing the dangers.

Isn't there a video showing the immense amount of toxic fumes even a little amount of mercury gives off? This guy is going to be poisoned pretty badly standing there.
