@XXpassion4puzzleXX Hey, keep in mind they don't jump bank as much as cross country riders. And why do they need to, as they are hunter/eq? Both events are challenging in different ways. :)

@hunterjumper114777 cool life. so I'm spoiled because I've gone to an A show? You sound like a jealous bitch. Not everyone who goes to A shows get money handed to them...
-
@elizabethsbiggestfan not being able to jump a bank does not, under any circumstances, make a rider spoiled. Hunter and equitation riders aren't used to jumping banks. Not to mention, the horses may never have seen a bank before, let alone jumped one. Additionally, I've been riding and showing in the hunters my whole life. I've had concussions, slipped discs, broken vertebrae, and countless falls. I've had to fight my fears and my injuries for what I love. Don't you dare call hunters spoiled.

@showjumppony what does that even mean..? high level equitation classes aren't as particular when it comes to tack. Yes, there are certain rules as to what bits, spurs, etc. are allowed at the shows, but figure eight bridles are perfectly acceptable. also, if you're going to critique you might want to learn how to spell, dear. "liers" is actually spelled "liars". If you're trying to criticize, you should spell correctly. Then maybe you'll be taken a little more seriously.

@dreamershavemorefun yeahh... thats how most people are, I liked horses my whole life and my gram paid for my first set of lessons for my birthday when i was 6 and i feel in love with it... I dont take lessons anymore cause it's gotten too expensive but i still ride every chance i get... it just becomes a part of your after a while

@Kris10Beauty It took a while, I actually did stalls and stuff at a different barn to save up enough money, and i got an ex-racer for kinda cheap, then just re-trained her by working with her for 2 hours, 3 times a week, and to pay for board I ended up working for the barn i boarded at AND the other barn so i could pay the reduced board... I actually ended up having to sell her because i moved and couldnt get to the barn as often... but i'm working on saving up for a horse again.

@sassyshela Me too! just because you can't afford a 500,000 dollar horse doesn't mean your a loser and just because you can doesn't mean your spoiled. sure, some riders buy their way, but most of us work our butts off. these girls/guy have worked SUPER hard to get where they are. bravo to them
-
@xoSTIXox how were you able to buy your own horse? I've been wanting to for YEARS and get so discouraged because my dad will not support me or help me out. Staying back at the barn while everyone goes to shows with theire own horses made me so upset. I'd like to know how you did it!?
I know almost everyone has said this a people are probably tired of hearing it but not all horse riders are spoiled... TRUST ME ON THIS ONE. I have been riding horses since i was 6 and i am most deff. NOT spoiled, it took me until this past spring to even get my own horse and i've been riding for 10 years... I had to buy my horse ON MY OWN and i have to pay my board ON MY OWN... so don't go around saying that all horseback riders are spoiled... we ALL work had for what we have

elizabethsbiggestfan you have NO RIGHT to call hunter/equitation riders spoiled, since not all of us are spoiled brats.
