Hi guys - In this tutorial I will show you several techniques in creating a tag for your mini album. The video gets cut off in the end... sorry I went over the allotted time so I had to make a part 2. Don't forget to watch part 2 for the complete tutorial! :-) Enjoy!

  • what stamp is that i really like it

  • Hi there! It's the INK-Family clear stamps by 7Gypsies. :-)

  • hi Arlene, would you rather used pearl ex over perfect pearl? Im debating on what to buy and how they both work? Any tips or advice?

  • Hi there! PearlEx doesn't have a built in fixative. So when applied, you need to use a fixative like hairspray to set it. Perfect Pearls has a built-in fixative, so applying water (i.e. apply the Perfect Pearls then spritz with water in mini-mister) will keep the Perfect Pearls bonded to the paper (no hairspray needed.) I use either, both achieve the same look. :-) You get more PearlEx color for your money though. Comes in 12/pack vs. 4 pack for PP. :-) Hope this helps!

  • Is this a 7Gypsies stamp set? Just wondering...

  • Hi there! Yup, its the INK-Family Clear stamp set by 7Gypsies. :-)

  • Oh so thats how you cut the corners evenly I always been doing it wrong!! This is why I watch youtube constantly!!!!

  • AWESOME TAGS!

  • The foam is for the distressed inks =) The felt is for the Alcohol inks =) Hope that helps

  • Hi can you tell me which is the best thing to use with the distressing ink to apply them on with the tim holtz tool. Some say to use foam and others say felt.

  • Michael's & Hobby Lobby carries them. Michael's come in two different color sets.. 2 (12) 3 grams jars (awesome range in colors). At Hobby Lobby, in the 'clay' department, you can only purchase individual .5 oz jars ($4.77+tax - back in '08). Also, there's a limited amount of colors to select from. I personally would buy the sets, since they do last a while & not hunt for certain colors you want. I hope that helps you or anyone else in regards to Pearl Ex.

  • thank you that helps a lot...thank you!
