@xXChuyitoXx you cant push "as much as you want" average 1.8T ussually handles 40 psi max on stock internals before shit gets fucked, I would imagine 2.0s are the same, and I've dealt with aftermarket boosted 2.0's if you dont do it right, your motor will get fucked. vws can handle roughly 340 HP on stock internals, so I'd play it safe and do about 25 - 30 psi, that'll give you a decent amount of HP.

@xXChuyitoXx If it's a conversion from the GL, the block is aluminum so it can't hold up to too much of the aftermarket power, I've seen guys run in the range of 11-16 lbs

i have a 2001 jetta gl with a cold air and full magnaflow what else would you suggest to turbo it and can i do it with 75k on the car, what hp is there now

@Marckille He pieced it together from an ebay kit and he chipped it and magnaflow exhaust...

i have an 04 jetta, stock 2.0, with hot air intake. i'm actually thinking of adding a turbo kit on it. do you guys know how many pounds of boost i can max it to?

@PocketMini87 it's also a single overhead cam, should i replace that to a dual or should i just leave it alone?
