I listened to it again, it's a beautiful piece. If you are referring to Ernesto Lecuona's "Malaguena", which is what most folks recognize as the piece by that title, there isn't a single measure of this piece that matches what Lecuona wrote. There are a couple of phrases in there that come close, but that does not make the piece "Malaguena", unless there's another popular piece by the same name somewhere?
I'm open minded, so please refer me to the piece, by author, that Dave Beegle is playing.

I'm no expert but he needs to practice this song more.he misses alot of the strings and also cuts too many corners.

My dad told me that according to his friend The Possum (George Jones), Maleguena was one of the hardest songs to play on the guitar.
