Speed Hud app for Android - Head-up Display (HUD) in VW Golf V by night

A short test drive with the Speed Hud app for Android on my HTC Desire smartphone. Cheapest HUD available and it works ok... at least when it's dark outside :)

The video was made in a VW Golf V TDI with a Samsung WB2000 / TL350 camera (originally recorded in 1.080p mode, but re-encoded with Super (C) to 720p resolution prior to uploading).

@adrianthevoice It's pretty accurate on my phone. At 0:25 you can see a post on the right side of the road that gives a real-time speed measurement - the difference with the app is just 1 kph. A lot depends on the gps chip in your phone though.
