Hi there, I was wondering where exactly did you go down to the river? I tried going from the entrance and went through the road but couldn't find the way down from there.

@VigintiTres1 For sure. Keep going until you pass the second wooden bridge. It's actually quite far from the entrance. The people working in the front will tell you where to go. All that section from the road are non legal to fish because they are actually steelhead. You can fish for those during their season.
It's a few miles to get to where you can fish.

dude thats awesome.. ive always thought about fishing arroyo seco but i never knew if i would have any luck.. can u give me an idea of which part of the river to fish?

@chickendoodoo For sure. Really that river has fish all over it. But the legal portion is after the wooden bridge. And yes, you will see some big fish (for that area) in the water on that bridge. If you can help it, keep going ahead and follow the rest of the river. Should be a 1.5hr hike.

@flytyer232 Hey Mike,
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
That pack is actually my mtbiking pack. It's a CamelBak M.U.L.E.
It works great for short hikes and just minimal gear. Eventually, I'd like something more specific to fly fishing so I can access gear easier.
