True.Syrian special forces were attacking.when they broke the lines and entered the FREE REGIONS their dogs followed(Druze, Awmieh,HK, Hizballah)..Few officers had betrayed GMA & fled the night before, The LF's made an artillary barrage to split the army in two main areas Dekweneh and Badaro to make it easy for the Syrians to go in. with all that, the syrians lost 900 men (if we can call them men) and 250 from our troops (more than half were killed after the battle)
