What about Heaven?

I did this video because I see so many about hell and find little on here or anywhere on the net about Heaven. We distort the gospels by presenting God as angry and vengeful. Even Jesus said He came not to judge the world but to save it. John 3:17. Please respond with video's about Heaven. For those that would like to see the other side of God (a truer picture of Him) do a search on here for a video titled a "Father's love letter". We loose people by over focusing on hell...then wonder why they don't like us. We say, "why don't you want to go to Heaven?" yet tell them nothing about Heaven...I wouldn't want to go somewhere I knew nothing about either actually.

@DoubleM55 Oh gosh I am truly sorry to hear this...:( It sounds like your mom didn't understand the grace of God...I hope one day she will learn this. One thing I try to do with atheists or anyone of a different faith that is being attacked by Christians is give them the scriptures to show to those attacking them...to show them they aren't following the teachings of Christ by doing what they do. If a Christians is about truth, they cannot ignore those verses.

@moonglow38 That would be great if you could get Christians "back on track", but until then, I must defend myself from their threats. You are right, I agree that religion should be about love, not threats, but unfortunately, It is very often complete opposite of that. Christianity even destroyed my family (Mom and dad divorced, because my mom was constantly talking about hell, and finally left my dad because he was atheist). Shortly after that, I asked myself: "Would god do this?"

I see so many that think because they are saved they are somehow better then others and they become arrogant...and they push people away from God. Its truly awful. :( If they were really saved they would be acting in love, not in hate.

@DoubleM55 Oh I see! Yea...it can be a struggle trying to reply to video's on here in a different language. I do the sometimes myself. I use google translator and hope it translates right! lol. The gospel isn't suppose to be a threat..its suppose to offer hope to those needing hope in this life. Its suppose to offer love and teach us to love others. Not hate on those that don't believe or threaten them with hell. Its not to be used as some weapon to hurt others, yet that does happen

@moonglow38 Oh, yea, my bad... Sorry, I'm from Croatia, so English is not my native language, so those things happen to me sometimes... And, I understand what are you saying, just, I think that religion is actually a threat, and Christians are not doing enough to hide it, and not the other way, like you said that they 'distort the gospel'

@DoubleM55 re-read your comment to me...you said 'treat'...which I now think you meant to use the word, 'threat'. I was rather confused by your comment I thought you were saying something about Heaven not being much of a treat. Now in reading your latest comment I understand what you meant. Anyway I agree with what you are saying ..you are saying the exact same thing I said in my video. Christians distort the gospel message by making it a threat...love God or burn in hell. :(

@moonglow38 If I say to you with the gun pointed at your head: "Give me all your money, and you will be saved from death!" did I use word "treat"? You can try to hide the truth by saying that god loves you, and he doesn't wont to send you to hell. But, robber also doesn't want to kill you, he just wants your money, however, If you don't cooperate, he will have to. I'm truly sorry, but I fail to see the difference between the robber and the god.

@DoubleM55 I didn't use the word 'treat' so I am not sure where you are getting that from. This video was made for Christians that do exactly what you just said...they distort the gospel message by saying believe or go to hell. They overly focus on hell and don't talk much about heaven.

Sorry, but this didn't help at all. You say that we think It's a treat: "if you don't worship me, you will go to hell", It is a treat. And now you say, noo, it's not that bad, if you worship him, you will go to heaven, otherwise, you go to hell. Like, now it's not a treat anymore? What?
