http://wape.com/morningmesss - Radio legend Rick Dees called the show today to share his memories of Michael Jackson the King of Pop. he talked about there lifelong friendship and his trip to Neverland Ranch.
How can you believe anything that cheesebag says? He says he's also great friends with Shaq, and that Shaq went bowling with him at his house. Later Shaq confirmed everyone's suspicions live on Kevin and Bean, he has never even met rick cheese.
After hearing that interview, i can't help but wonder if Dees knew about Michael's dark side, or not. Especially since he use to poke fun at Michael from time to time (in good fun, of course) Just curious is all.
This is just wonderful. Thank you Mark Kaye and WAPE for posting. Rick Dees was to me and many radio people "an inspiration" but how very interesting to hear his take on M.J. and to hear him sharing those experiences.
Rick Dees once did a "Candid Phone" where they called up a concert place in LA to book a michael jackson concert ...but it was Rick Dees imitating Michael Jackson. He would make backstage demands, such as Mannequins, and one wheatie on a plate, and 3 different rooms for 3 different gloves because the rooms were a shrine to the gloves. Then when the auditorium manager found out it was a joke, things got really crazy ("DAVE") this is on the recording "Put it where the moon dont shine"
