As much as I hate gamespot for doing what they did to Jeff, if they hadn't have done it we wouldn't have Giant Bomb today. Thank u gamespot for being assholes! something good came from something bad. :)

Don't trust gamespot or any game site. Go with your heart and play what you want. Jeff Gerstmann is a hero.

@warag complete with funny accent.

It's stupid, if a game's a bad game then how can you force someone to talk to thousands of viewers and say it's a good game. What Eidos should have done is confront I-O Interactive (developers of Kane and Lynch) and said, 'Hey, you gave us a product that wasn't up to scratch and we advertised the hell out of it and now we look bad' and maybe have threatened to not publish Kane and Lynch in the future

Yahtzee is the best critic

@mangaas Giant Bomb is probably the spiritual successor to Gamespot at this point.

Unfortunately Honest isn't a trouble free
There's a word for people who lie a lot "Liars"
But there isn't an official word (as far as i'm concerned) for people who tell the truth a lot
Except he was right and all the glaring problems of that game are apparent throughout.

No wonder Gamespot went down hill. firing him over a review just made it more obvious to the viewers/readers that they were bought out by the publisher to do a good review. A stupid move by gamespot that, as time has proven, cost them a lot of credibility / viewership / subscribers(paid subscribers) / money.
Now Gametrailers pretty much took over.
