there are tradeoffs between the two (i was considering a Civic too but bought a Fit). Civic has a bit more power. I enjoy the handling better on the Fit, as well as its awesome cargo area.

I have not heard of any plans for a moonroof, but you never know...

The price point will blend a little bit with the 09 Fit btwn 15,220 - 19,430 and the 09 Civic Sedan starting w/ the 1st model with factory A/C btwn 16,825 - 24,225. The question is which Honda works best for you. The Fit is a 5 dr hatchback and the Civic is offered in 2D, 4D, SI 2D&4D and Hybrid. The Fit is in the Sub-compact class, while the Civic is a Compact. If you are someone that has to carry lots of items in the cargo area the Fit might work better because of its shape & magic seats.
