Why the chrome edge?! YUCK! I was at Magnolia yesterday and saw all the latest TVs from Panny, Sammy, LG, Sharp Elite, Sony & Runco. VT50 showed several hotspots around the chrome edge created by the lights in the store. Very distracting! Panny is still behind other major competitors in design. If only we can have a TV that has the monolithic styling of Sony and picture quality of Panasonic we'd have the best of both worlds...oh we did have the Pioneer Kuro but that's been dead for 3 years!
