The Good Life Community Bicycle Shop
The Good Life Bicycle Shop is a community bicycle repair, education, and resource centre. It provides cyclists of all levels a supportive atmosphere where they can meet others with the same passion and gain experience in all kinds of shop and mechanical duties. The Shop's Work Trade program gives bike enthusiasts the opportunity to put volunteer time spent on project towards earning their own bike or parts. The program is flexible, open to Calgarians of all ages, genders, cultures, and incomes and to those who just want to "drop-in" to help. The Good Life offers a program to reinvigorate passion for community involvement and volunteering, something which is rarely available to individuals coping with poverty
