The second guy, you don't have to kill him either. If you put the third and the fourth one (in a note it says justine was interested in those) in those slots I don't think he dies.

That specific monster that broke the box is blind, so you don't have to worry about him TOO much. But another one that shows up later isn't blind because I've been watching toby play this game and he got killed by it :(
