What if Aleister Crowley had attracted richer benefactors and a greater taste in interior design than was demonstrated at Cefalu? What wickedness there would have been then!

Enjoy the splendour of Grand Lodge Freemasons Hall in London in this short presentation courtesy of United Grand Lodge England. A building really worth a visit or even hire it for your next Gnostic Mass.

The poster of this video would like to point out that Aleister Crowley never actually ascended to the position within Freemasonry that he declared he had. For a fascinating insight into his relationship with Freemasonry, I refer you to the link at the end of this paragraph for an excellent and well researched article by Bro. Martin P. Starr of The Grand Lodge Of British Columbia and Yukon:

The poster of this video would also like to emphasise that the building featured in this video is in not in fact a temple owned or used by any person with the name Aleister Crowley. No defamation or injury to UGLE intended or implied.

  • This is the United Grand Lodge of England not Crowley's OTO or his AA solcieties. Please get your facts right and stop all this masonophobia

  • @swingfire0011 Good Day to you Bro. If you bother to read the information below the video you will read that I know exactly what the building is. The phenomena you appear to have missed here is the concept of humour but thank you for dropping by and sharing in the splendour of this magnificent building. I hope you were not disappointed.

  • The title has nothing at all to do with the video - CHANGE IT!

  • @TizzleBGT This video has nothing et al to do with my tie either

  • What did Aleister Crowley have to do with the Grand Lodge of England? What part did he play?

Nice nice building by the way. Looking forward to seeing it with my own eyes when given the opportunity.

  • Hi crockettburnett! Click on the link at the bottom of the info pane to the right of the video to read an interesting article on the matter. It is a nice building - check out the way those massive doors open with just a breath...

  • THERE IS NO GNOSTIC MASSES in UGLE . jesus . the OTO isnt even recognised by ANY masonic body

  • Very well. There are lodges working outside of prescribed and time honored traditions. I will disagree with you as it pertains to a US. KKK Masonic relationship. Don't misunderstand me. I am not suggesting that KKK is a recognized and established Freemason Lodge. However... early American Freemasons having established the KKK for their subversive purposes did blur the lines between Freemasonry and this offshoot. I have prince hall friends, but they can not be members of US Scottish Rite.

  • @NOISLAMINUSA Yes I am fimiliar with both as I am a practicing English Freemason, Crowley's problem was that he was an irregular member of a French Clandestine Lodge and therefore unrecognised by UGLE and other Masonic Bodies. But damn he does look good in his regalia. As for the KKK they are not a masonic body, and i do know that Prince Hall the first African American Freemason was iniated into a Britsh [Irish] Masonic Body

  • I don't doubt your convinced that he wasn't. But should we assume that your the only brother with the correct view? I am certain your familiar with the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry in the USA? we also have opinions. . We are equally certain you will concur that there are divergences between the Lodges. I would cite Prince Hall, KKK , Bnai Brith and a few other lodges as obvious examples.

  • @NOISLAMINUSA Aleister Crowley presented himself to the United Grand Lodge of England where he was informed that he was a member of a clandestine or irregular lodge and therefore unrecognised by any Masonic Body. I think I can speak as a 32nd Degree Freemason with regards to Crowleys qualifications as a member

  • You are sadly mistaken. Go read a few books and come back to me when you are educated. No offense intended, but you obviously haven't done your home work.

  • @NOISLAMINUSA Crowley was not a Freemason, He was not recognised by any regular masonic body.

  • @abarrathemaster How does he wear clothes when he is DEAD? what the F@#% are you talking about. Are you some Sharmoota?

  • @NOISLAMINUSA Aliester Crowley also wear clothes, there for wearing clothes is bad! This name one person that do not wear clothes who is a evil freemanson and child killer, not one singer person. Haa my point is prooven.

Nudism is the only moral way to go

  • Sir Aleister Crowley may never have been elevated to the position he claimed in Freemasonry but by G. he certainly attained thereto in manifest spirit of understanding, unlike some Starrs.
