Monterey Institute - Collaborative Content Creation

Technology has increased the expectations around learning material. Most departments and small companies don't have the resources to develop high-end content. The Monterey Institute provides a useful alternative by centralizing content creation.

The Monterey Institute saw that, nationally, there was a lot of repetitive small spend to design learning content. Their solution was to pull this repetitive content from all the member institutions, improve upon it, then redistribute the content and make it free to the public on an open education resource site.
