Here Laura sings her 1987 hit 'Power Of Love' on Solid Gold.
As many of you know, all guests on Solid Gold mimed to studio tracks of their songs.
And as few of you know, the studio version of this song is automatically detected as copy righted and deleted.
To avoid this, I have replaced the studio track with audio of Laura singing this in Chile in 1990.
I've also edited the video slightly to keep it in sync (as best as possible).
Please forgive the occasional loss of sync, it cannot be avoided.
I plan to do the same with other videos, and have already done so with Laura's performance of 'How Am I Supposed To Live Without You' on this show.

@fungirlparty Boy! Those too are my sentiments exactly! Talent-wise, much more so in my opinion. Trouble was that Laura suffered the effects of poor management in the mid-80's in their misguided and elusive quest to maintain her commercial success by adhering to the mantra and dictates of her record label. Not to mention her perchant for following the poor career advice received from those closest to her...
