There's no getting around the fact that D-SLRs are complicated machines. The Function button can save you a lot of hassle when you're shooting in the field, by being a shortcut to a variety of specific functions and features. This WebTip describes in detail how to set what is controlled by the Function button.

  • @asianlaxer i do believe that difference regarding what appears semi professional and expert is little nowadays. d7000 is perhaps all everyone need. go to... freedslr(.)com remove () and take the chance to bring home completely new Nikon D7000

  • Thanks for taking the time to post this.

  • got my D3000

  • how can i fix the bluer on the Nikon d3000

  • @shynsneeky

Aah thanks! Did found it already on the manual.

Thanks for your time to answer.

  • @RobinMoviesOffical I found out that there is a buffer that limits the number of pictures you can take. If Active D lighting or Noise Control are turned on it reduces this buffer size to like 5 photos. With those options off you can take 100 photos under most conditions. Look at your manual, I think page 58. Search for buffer. This limit can be seen in the viewfinder when the shutter button is half way pressed down.

  • Robin... go to the menu and pick "release modes" the go to the submenu and pick "continuous".

  • Thanks! I got another question probably.

How to photograph in the 3fps? I hold the shutter button and it makes 4 photo´s (pretty quick) and it stops. I saw on other videos they can do like 10 photos.

  • just got the camera for Xmas. great guide---thanx
