While in the city as a local or an out of town guest be sure and check out the "Old downtown" area on Freemont street. You'll find hotels like Binions Horseshoe where they used to play the World Series of Poker and the Golden Nugget, Steve Wynn's first Casino. There are several fun restaurants with live music. Freemont used to be one of the busiest roads in Las Vegas and now it's been turned into a walkway and late at night you can enjoy the Freemont Street Experience laser light show.
