Some people misinterpreted my comments. I don't care about one's heritage/ ethnicity/ or nationality either. My point was when she was asked about her ethnicity, she said she's 1/2 Japanese & 1/2 Spanish. I felt that she was embarrass to say she's a Filipina.

honestly...this season was tough, Latoya London, Jennifer Hudson, and Fantasia Barrino were all in the SAME season with her.

i just commented on one of her videos saying i think ramille is better but Jas nailed this one!

Good...ish...BUT NOT better than Kimberly Locke-2nd season- who was absolutely flawless in her rendition.....diction was better, voice was stronger...conviction was undeniable. Kimberly Locke.....

It's 2011 and I still remember her

@819HannahJean She is Filipino-American born in Hawaii you still have doubts? Google her interview and her take on Another Fil-American Thia Megia. She's 100% Filipina born in Hawaii..there is a lot of her Yuotube Video taken while singing in the Barrio Fiestas in Hawaii before she was on American Idol.

This is my favorite performance of Jasmine Trias. She rocks!!!!! Between Diana DeGarmo and Jasmine should've gotten it. I have watched American Idol Season 3 and disappointed about that because this 2 women should've been da last 2 standing not Fantasia. She did great except at the time when they made them sing da guest judges songs. She didn't go a good job of singing Gloria Estefan's songs........the other 2, excellent!!!!!!!
I'm not a Jasmine fan, but wow this was one of the best performances of Season 3.
She really did an awesome job, and it was the one performance from her I listened to over and over again.
