It's easy to be against something that will help OTHER people. Who cares about OTHER people? They're not me, so why should I care about someone who isn't me?

That's their attitude.

They talk about evil in the world. Well guess what, they're it.

@Apologist4Christ973 You're right, there's no difference between our atoms and a rock's atoms, there's no difference between us and animals (hence why we can test medicine on animals before we use it), and the universe doesn't care whether you're alive or dead.

But let me ask you something; why does any of that really matter? How do those facts change anything about us? We're still the same humans we were before we found out we evolved.

@ninjajesus81 That humanity does not have an eternal soul. if this holds true, what is the differnce between man and animal. Nothing. At the sub atomic level what is the difference between a man and a rock.. Nothing. What is the diference, to the Universe whether you are alive or dead? Nothing. What is the difference to GOD if you have value, or your eternal well being... EVERYTHING. I agree the Universe owes us nothing. But every day we breathe is a gift from God.

I don't care what your opinion is on the truth, all I care about is the truth. If you find the truth unsettling, that's just too bad. The universe does not owe you a comforting existence.

I believe humans are just the result of chemistry and nature. Yet, I still feel EXACTLY the same way I do towards humans as I did when I believed God created us.

@Apologist4Christ973 You said blastocysts have human potential. Well I provided you with an example of how skin cells also have human potential. Now you're moving the goalposts and saying "well, not naturally". Ok, well, why does it matter if the human potential is natural or not? If a human is born unnaturally, is it not a human? What's the difference? Can you not talk to that human? Does he not have a personality? Does he not bleed? Does he not have emotions?

Out of body experiences are people who say they floated out of their bodies? Proof of this is where?

Remote viewing, again, where is the proof? Show me one experiment done under controlled conditions where remote viewing was shown to be possible.

Saying the military "used" it is baseless. Where is the evidence?

@ninjajesus81 Well yes, in a laboratory experiment, using human intelligence ( yes, I said that bad word, intelligence), and DNA... But that's not a process of nature, thats pure intelligent ( again) manipulation of the natural world.

@ninjajesus81 I would disagree with the "we have no evidence for souls". There is some strange stuff popping up, not only in Dr, witnessed NDE, and OBE's, but also Remote viewing ( which has been used by both the American and Former Soviet militaries for YEARS, and in the area of quantum physics, and the nature of consciousness... However these findings would KILL materialism, if they turn out to be true...
