8 player mode in Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament

Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament is a racing game developed by Codemasters in 1994. The game was released on Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis (known as Sega Mega Drive in Europe), PC, Sega Game Gear and Nintendo Game Boy.

The Sega Genesis version includes a 8 player mode where 8 players can play simultaneously by sharing 4 controllers. 2 controllers are connected directly to the special J-Cart game cartridge. Players have only three controls: left, right and brake.

This is a short demo of the 8 player mode. As you can see, there is no track selection before the game starts. It seems that the pool table is the only track where the 8 player mode can be played.

You said on Screattacks was testing PAL game on NTSC console, so is it possible to play on 6 or 4 players with sharing gamepad? If I don't have enough controllers? :)

argh you need to mod your megadrive to 60hz. It will give you full screen and full speed

You can get a Super Nintendo and a Genesis nowadays combined for the price of one Xbox 360 game. You should get both!
