가야금 연주의 새로운 역사, 신기의 열손가락 연주법으로 세계적으로 유일한 천새빛의 연주는 특히 23현, 25현가야금 2대의 가야금독주가 신기의 열손가락 연주법으로 연주 되는데 48현에서 표현되는 각기 다른 음색의 두대의 악기는 천새빛연주가 세계적으로 유일하며 이미 부천시민회관(2003. 12. 26), 국립민속박물관(2004. 1. 3) 전주 MBC TV 공개홀연주(2004,02,18), 국악방송 채치성의 우리소리 사랑방 초대석 출연연주(2004. 4. 21 생방), 천익창, 천새빛 개량국악기 운현궁 연주회(2004. 4. 25), 화도진축제 초청연주(2004. 5. 1), 서울가야금경연대회 대상수상자 초청연주(국립국악원 우면당 2004.06.26)등등 활발한 활동을 하고 있다.

제1회 서울가야금 경연대회(2003.6.1)에서는 국내 최대규모의 심사위원 이영희, 강정렬, 김정자, 신영희, 김일륜, 정회천, 양현섭, 송인길, 한진, 강문숙, 김정수, 김남순, 강길려등에 의해 대상수상자로 선정되기도 하였으며, 또한 천새빛 연주의 다른 특징은 중국 쟁(箏)의 주법을 포용하여 다양한 세계의 정서를 추구하고 있다.

@phenghuang well actually i think he's just playing with 2 to expand the range of the instrument

u can play with both hands on the right hand side, the hand on the left is usually for vibrating pitches, but it can be brought to the right to play more notes

The reason you have to use 2 Kayageum is generally people doesn't play Kayageum with L-R hands on the same right hand board ?

Coz, I recognize your finger movement that you are playing in different note at a time..

**according to my Guzheng exp. we can play this in 1 guzheng **

@mirumiyashiro la verdad que no estoy del todo seguro ya que no se tocar ninguno de los tres.

si que los tres tienen una forma muy parecida, pero se notan algunas diferencias en cuanto a la manera de tocar y el sonido que se produce.
