Most of the the time you dance by yourself. It's just you, and the music. Eventually you get into a state of flow. If you have a really hot DJ, it's almost like meditation. You lose yourself in an expanded universe. You should try it-instead of just watching videos.

A reasonable observation, but it isn't very accurate. Maybe by chance some of the movements look similar, but house stays much closer to the West African, the jazz, tap, and latin styles. Notice the fluidity in the torso compared to a bboy. House has its own ground movements called lofting that have more fluid execution compared to breaking. BTW, the guy in the white shirt is a bboy, Mathias, and doesn't represent house dance. Check wikipedia for house dance, more info there. What's rave pop?
