Regular season is all about the bench. The bench is playing well so it's no surprise they have been winning their regular season games. In playoffs, not so much. Starters win playoffs and beyond that, stars. Rondo as overrated as he is, is still an all-star and easily top 3 PG in the east if not the best. He is important to the Celtics and while they are doing well without him right now, will certainly miss him later.

If you consider 16-25 ft jumpshots (even if wide open) are considered "easy" then yes Rondo helped Boston get many easy shots. Is he a big loss though? In my opinion he is not because Boston's offense can operate with or without him (whether it's as "easy" as before is irrelevant since they have been getting the same results). We will see if that holds true in the playoffs.

Yeah they were. They weren't going to end up 6-8 seed. Probably 3-5. They're only 3.5 games behind Indiana (3) right now. They were missing Bradley and look how well they are doing with him back. Imagine if Rondo was still here. Also, you're severely underrating Boston here. They always do well in the playoffs and last year was a testament to that. They were so close to going to the Finals.

That's a good thing lol. Rondo made shots very easy for the Celtics. My point is that Rondo was a big loss for the Celtics. Agree or not agree?

They weren't ECF material are you joking? You must be joking because at the rate they were going they were going to be seeded 6-8 that means no home court AND they'd most likely be up against either the Heat, Knicks, or Pacers/Bulls in the 1st round. They don't get past any of those teams IMO.

What I mean by Rondo will pass the ball for an assist is when he gets in the lane and up in the air he won't always pass the ball to the open cutter if he thinks a defender will be there on the help D. He will try to look ahead of the play and make the next pass which is usually your shooter in the corner. Now is that a bad thing? No. That's just Rondo being ahead of the play and making the extra pass before it's there. That is why Boston w/Rondo generally didn't make extra passes.
