@mrob75 Michael Jackson was never associated with Disco even though -technically - his "Off the Wall" album was completely disco. But being labelled "King of Pop" he was able to dodge the disco label. Blondie performed plenty of disco as well - but, thankfully for them - they were labelled as New Wave and didn't have the disco attachment. Countless acts over the past 35 years have the exact same beat/bass pattern as Andrea True and aren't consider disco.

@mrob75 - I remember the disco era. I was 18 when this song was released. Does that even matter when determining that she can't dance at all, looks like Goldmember, and looks extremely uncomfortable??? Actually, I like the song and don't consider it disco at all. The only reason it was labelled disco is because of the time it was released. If this is disco, then Steal My Sunshine is disco as well due to Len stealing the entire drum, bass and cowbell beats for their entire song.

I have observed that over the years that a some people who disliked Disco had no natural rythym and couldn't dance if their ass was on fire....

Speaking as one who was there, the emphasis was on the hotpants. And we all danced like Elaine, so don't be too hard on Ms. True. I can't believe how slow the tempo of this song is - it seemed MUCH faster then. In any event, Get Down Tonight!

Here we go again~Negative comments about Andrea True~The way she looks, the way she dances, the way she dresses...That she looks like so and so...That she dances like so and so... All comments made by people who don't even remember the disco era let alone recognize her contributions to disco music.
