The JDome is really just a spherical projection screen. It doesen't know what is projected onto it.
If you can find a console game where you can change the field of view to 125 degrees then it will work just as good as in the fps games seen in the videos, however i doubt that you will be able to find one that does allow you to do that...
I suppose that's why they are trying to get developers on board as it already works really well with pc games.

What projector would be ideal? and is the JDome console friendly? ie will it work with PS3 and Xbox 360?

My problem is the ribs are really offputting, it kills the immersion for me - might not bother some people though

Nice. Promote, promote, promote!
The only problem I have with it is that it is very dim, even in low lighting it seems. having a room that is dark all the time, to get the best screen brightness, just isn't always possible.

I was promised a dimmed enivronment, but happened to be placed next to the brightest booth on Dreamhack! As I used my home movie projector, it was a bit to bright...
