Apart from your pure creativity, one thing I like about you is the fact that you always say God bless. You seems connected to the highest source that anyone can get connected to, God. I am enjoying what you and boon doc are doing and I am learning fast as well. Thanks and God bless.

not trying to be a buzzkill, but i stopped working with samples a while back unless i can flip them like crazy. anno domini used this in almost the same exact way a while back for JMT i believe. i forget the song but its also in "brandon jennings official mixtape" on youtube, 2nd beat halfway through the video. samples also can't get cleared anymore if you're trying to do anything mainstream, keep it up though
nice work man...were do u find ur samples from, i dunno were to start when it comes to sampling.

Thanks man. I get my samples off of records. I go to the record store at least once or twice a month and spend about 5 hours in there listening to each record from front to back til I find a sample. Keep listening to music and it'll definitely come for sure. It takes time but you'll know when you find the one that makes you want to get home and turn on your equipment to make a beat.

fat trak, lemme ask you...
where would u normally start off wen comin up wit ur beat...(starting from scratch) the sample or the drum patterns? Cuz im sure b4 you and boondoc even make a video it's already been pre-thought and planned b4 layin it out in front o' da camera right?

When I start a beat it depends on how I feel. Usually I start with the drums sometimes I start with the melody then add the drums. There's no set way for me to tell you the truth but I'm more comfortable usin drums first then build around the rest. On a sampled beat I chop the sample and get a feel for what I'ma play then add the drums and re-do the sample chops on top of that. I do pre think of what i'ma do then record it and do re-takes til it's right.
