@TulkorHAOMARUSH I strongly agree. I'm from Laja, southern Chile. A very mistique place full of hills, forests and lakes. I remember my first Summoning tape was Dol Guldur. As soon as I listened to the whole cassette, I said to myself, I gotta go into the forest. And I did so. I grabbed my coat, my boots, my walkman, a few tapes (Burzum, Nemesis Divina by Satyricon, Summoning) and I made my way into the wild at night in the middle of fall. An experience that exceeds live gigs.

@DerAnstifter They are also not market-whores either. They make what they find beautiful, not what they think the masses will eat up. This notion is what separates real musicians (true musical artists) from the whores who simply want to make top selling albums and get mass publicity.
Stage performances are just another cash-flow--good for certain small bands...granted! Besides, Summoning has already performed countless times--it just happens that these performances took place in my mind :)

@TulkorHAOMARUSH Stage performances are for ape-like crowds. We rather take our walking cane and set our way to the wilderness to enjoy these tunes in our solitude. That is what Summoning is all about. Understand it once and for ALL!!!

well for one u have one person doing multiple tasks...if u want them to perform they have to have stuff on recording...which kinda blows for performances. and a lot of editing and stuff for dragon sounds and tuning n what not.
all i care is that they bring orgasm to my ears and they succeed in doing this without stage performances.
