'Custom Kicks' Book Launch

To celebrate the the launch of the book Custom Kicks by Matthijs Maat and Kim Smits (MAKI) we have invited artists from around the world to customize sneakers on June 28, 2008 from 12:00- 18:00 at The American Book Center in Amsterdam.

People who brought their sneakers and proof of purchase of the book Custom Kicks could get their shoe customized for free. This was such a success that at the end of the day, artists couldn't accept any more shoes to customize.

to be honest as long as you are good artist you can instantly become pro at this, providing you can prep properly, Fortunately i am relatively good with acrylic based paints :P
