Thanks for your comments hkfamily- Maggie sort of answered the question at the :35 second mark, although it sounds more like an opinion. The entire debate will be up on Hofstra's website hopefully within a week or so. I definitely recommend watching it. She might clarify more for you. I've watched it 3 times already and am still a little confused as rhetoric is always open to so much interpretation.

Wow, she says it, at 7:02. Maggie says her marriage sucks. No wonder she doesn't think marriage should be about love. This all makes sense now. She is jealous of GLBT couples for having loving relationships when she does not.

Gallagher is pretty candid in this one. However her version of logic is lacking. But again maybe if she understood Boolean logic the OR condition would apply. One or the other but the same result. It works Maggie.

Yes, that is ideal, but until there is a shortage of orphans we should not be having this conversation. If you care about children, put them in homes where they will be loved. There's no two ways around that.

I love you. Really, that was awesome Cathy! "I think my wife is better than most people" xD. It's like they're just using a dictionary definition of marriage as an argument. And really, this little squabble over marriage shouldn't even be happening. It feels like two kids on the play ground are arguing. and one doesn't wanna share the playground with someone they have small differences with. NOM, this is EVERYONES playground.
