Living in the Midwest we can get some bad winters. But this treasure hunt was done in Jan. 2009 on a warm weekend, in the 40's. The video was taken with the camera on my cell phone. After finding this cache I had to video and take picture with something as this was a unbelievable find in the woods with no homes near, no place for a car to drive or even a trail to walk on...so how did these coins get here and as you will see in the photos I found over 4500 coins in that one spot

you da man! been hunting for 1 month now with an ace 250, have $14 in change and a silver ring, copper bracelet, bullet, and two brass casings.... one 7.62mm and one .303

My first reaching to seeing all these coins in the one place, is that it could have been an old wishing well, I wish I could find a wishing well lol, great find.
I haven't got a metal detector yet, but have wanted one for years, after seeing this video am sold.
