Just seen your post from 1 year ago. Dmitri is now a Professor of Music at the Conservatory of Music back in his homeland , and is now teaching full time. he no longer does many live concerts, although he is contracted by one of the big recording companies to make new CDs of various composers. I doubt that we will ever see him back on the world stage anymore

I know he is really good (I've seen him perform in Pasadena, CA's Ambassador Auditorium in the mid-1980's), so I don't know why his career has been in a rut for quite a while now? Bad managers, perhaps? Or did he take a long hiatus doing something entirely outside of music? Please comment...

What was that, unbelievable skill, I'll be ok, but this performance should have a warning label, seriously I am impressed 100%.

What the hell is a prestissimo movement?

I love the Prestissimo in this movement. I'm glad his hands are shown while playing it.
