@OfficialFearClan I love all these misconceptions people have, go on the BBC website they have the numbers there. France won an overwhelming majority of battles that it fought. What moral records? WW2? Every country in mainland Europe lost to Germany, no one calls them pathetic. Britain did have a great empire, no doubt. That doesn't make France any less great that what it was and what it is.

I understand that the 9/11 events did bring a lot of pain, but invading a country, killing people trying to protect themselves, and steal their ressources. isn't something to be very proud of. France got mocked off because it did not support this war

I don't have anything against the USA, I just feel sorry for you, about the bullshit hammering you endure everyday from your media. (for instance, most big shows making fun of france because they don't support this war. What do you think it is ?)

I often wonder about individuals who have harsh opinions about France and her military, "The ignorance is so plain to see" In my humble opinion; There are many tens of thousands of U.S. military personnel and American citizens that are very passionate about our friendship and relationship with our French allies. I served beside them in combat, they are true fighters. The Marines in my company thoroughly enjoyed operating beside them.

I had the honor to served with and beside French Marines, FFL, & French Army Infantry during combat operations in the middle east and south west asia. Never was I disappointed with their professionalism and warrior spirit. I would not hesitate to serve beside my French comrades again. The same for my friends serving in the British, Canadian, Australian, and Dutch military...your all excellent Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors. I served with them all, what a fantastic honor.

@njcourcier are you mentally retarted ? every country has its special forces and france rises among the first most powerful countries with commandos not only in the marines but also in the land and air army , and lets not forget the foreign legion . im not critisizing the SAS or anything just letting you know that your comment dont make sense

@HerpderDerpzz oh like the British havn't or Americans......we Brits are French (remember the normans?) and america lost in vietnam if it wern't for the channel Napoleon would of ensured we where all talking french by now. throughout history France always was and is still the greatest european military super power and if it wasn't for hitler sneaking through the woods (quite literally) France would of held its own..im british and im not a soldier but i can read a history book
