Okkusenman Karaoke in Seoul

My Korean friend Minji insisted that Karaoke rooms in Korea carry "Okkusenman" in their repertoire. I refused to believe her for ages - I had never been able to find it in Japanese karaoke rooms, so why would they have it in Korea?

It was only when I visited Seoul in May 2008 that I was forced to admit she had been right all along... And of course, we had to have a try at it. Here's a video of our lovingly chaotic rendition.

We were actually fucking up the high part deliberately, to sound like the original ゴムJ version of the song. Minji would have had no problem hitting it had she wanted to. As for me, well that's anybody's guess... :)

Good luck tracking it down in Japan though. It doesn't seem to be carried by any of the major karaoke chains - believe me I've looked. Akihabara, perhaps? In Seoul it's listed as 思い出は億千万, so, have a look, let me know if you find it!
