Boys are skinny and Girls are fat. I feed the heck outta these fish. Love them. I think the key to breeding them is power feeding, water changes and....Getting the fish back out of there after they breed. I remember that I did this last year for a few weeks as I wanted to get the algae under control in that big back pond. Many causes, but every little bit helps. The back tank are doing well also. New Growth!

  • nice vid its nice to see someone who knows wfat their doing and isn't a freaking rocket scientist.

  • @GladiatorShield thanks. I try to make it easy for people to get it... just a dude who likes his fish.... thanks for watching

  • tip: your right females tend to be bigger and males smaller and slim, but a positive ID is that during breeding season males have white speckles around the gills that look like salt grains. Some would say that they going through puberty and those are pimples.

  • @steven92nguyen haha, good stuff. I am worried that a heron came and ate some my Ryukin and white guy.

  • I point out what looks like a male and female how isn't that sexing? Perhaps I should flip them over to show you?

  • First thing I'm doing, shut up jasmine! Lol :)

  • i cant image ur water bill

  • So we gonna breed this suckers :)) Love it !

  • Nice job man !

  • @anuj7087 They won't die!!! I'd separate the common goldfish into the biggest storage bin you can afford (Upwards of 75 gallons!!!! They make them that big!!!) and clean it out real well and fill it up and put that goldfish in. Leave the gouramis in the 12 gallon tank (lol I know NOTHING about gouramis but they don't belong with goldfish that's for sure!). A Shubunkin is basically a calico commom goldfish, so that can stay with the other goldfish. It's good that you're concerned. Good luck!

  • You actually KNOW what you're doing, though you look like a guy who'd rather be speeding around on his quad or something :) I'm going to try to remove eggs from my tank because I have an albino female Pearlscale, and a Black Moor who is turning gold and I'd love to see the outcome, because the moor is constantly pestering the Pearl to breed with her! I think they've already bred several times, though, because they pick at their Anacharis even when they just ate... eggs!!!

  • you seem like you would be in the military...... but no. your breeding goldfish.

  • Poor Jasmine!!!

  • nice pond i wish i had one

  • man i love fish i wish i had that defoshion
