Well yes you are right. I am sorry I under-estimated you.
The thing is usually people on You-Tube are idiots so I don't really strive for making a long response or comment.
Anyways.
Yes you do need a graphics card which can handle 3D which MOST do hah.
And about 1GB of ram minimum for all around use.
I used the Windows 7 RTM And it was brilliant but I couldn't put up with it and video drivers. it kept BSOD'ing me and some serious problems where happening.
But yeah linux is Good for some peopl

Not completely true. I've a lot of linux experience and if you don't have the graphics, you don't have the smoothness. Otherwise you would notice linux as a platform for waaay more games than it is. I was not slagging of your machine or anything. And I understand screen captures capture lag due to lack of memory (usually). I do like beryl/compiz fusion etc. Linux is at times amazing but I don't need all that. In fact I still have XP classic at work, but windows 7 (Aero) elsewhere.

Actually that lag is the recorded.
All that stuff doesn't lag under linux :)
Even for low end computers.
