The Senate passed a provision authored by Senator Dorgan that will ensure military personnel returning from war service have access to outreach services that help them reintegrate into civilian life. Dorgan said the program will be helpful to hundreds of thousands of military members around country who have been or will be deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and other parts of the world, including thousands in North Dakota.
Yes, this is needed, as the Veterans Admin. is as near broken, as an agency can get. and I hope the returning Vets get expedited treatment. however, too often, this is not the case. not to mention, the DU issues. which our Govt. via V.A. are ignoring. as D.U. poisoning is also too non-specific. thus, just as Agent Orange, these men and women will suffer for decades, without treatment !

Senator Dorgan, You are a friend of the veteran. Not because I am one, but because I am getting old and sometimes wonder where help might be available later own. I am a Virginian, but your words connect with me. Your a good state senator. I wish I could say that for my own.

God, thank you so much for this Senator Dorgan.
And can we please stop putting them on watchlists....for there can be no greater insult than that...furthermore, we would like to know the names of any government employee that requests our veterans to be put on watch lists. I want their employement to be terminated without chance of review.
