Great video (Thanks Skene63) about a true American Pop Culture Icon. Too bad there are some that destroy the experience for some by being elitist scum bag racists. In no way am I saying the poster of this, "Skene", perpetrated that behavior NOT TRUE !!! Great stuff Skene, Thank you.

Sad but true. I love Taylor but in my only visit to the "Bowery" I witnessed the same thing. I am a white man that has been told is very good looking. (not that that should matter) I walk in with a black women who is more educated than the whole fucking crowd (including this so called poet) and all night we got stares and the occasional turn of the head and whisper to your friends type deal. It was complete bullshit. Ill never go back. She was crying. Now Im single. fucking elitist pukes.sorry

the people at the bowery peotry club in the lower nyc are the most racist bunch of people that i have ever encountered with...the people there stared at me with disgust some could not even make an eye contact with me, that day i felt like shit and i turned around and left their premises i went to the poetry club with an expectation of going to see an open mic poetry performance but the people there were so callous toward me I guess it was I was a different "race" it hurt me so badly. black skin
