Synopsis!
"Casino Royale" (2006) is the twenty-first film in the James Bond series; it is directed by Martin Campbell and the first to star Daniel Craig as MI6 agent James Bond. Based on the 1953 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, it was adapted by screenwriters Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Paul Haggis.

It is the third screen adaptation of the Casino Royale novel. It was previously produced as a 1954 television episode and a 1967 satirical film. However, the 2006 film is the only EON Productions adaptation of Fleming's novel. It is a reboot of the Bond franchise, establishing a new timeline and narrative framework not meant to be preceded by any previous film. This not only frees the Bond franchise from more than forty years of continuity, but allows the film to show a less experienced and more vulnerable Bond

The film is set at the beginning of James Bond's career as Agent 007, just as he is earning his licence to kill. After preventing a terrorist attack at Miami International Airport, Bond falls for Vesper Lynd, the treasury agent assigned to provide the money he needs to foil a high-stakes poker tournament organized by Le Chiffre. The film's story arc continues in the 22nd James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

About Song!
"You Know My Name," performed by Chris Cornell, is the theme song to the 2006 James Bond film, Casino Royale. Cornell wrote it jointly with David Arnold, the soundtrack's composer. The track was leaked onto the Internet on September 20, 2006. It is the second Bond theme to be sung by an American male vocalist, after Louis Armstrong, and the first to be sung by a male vocalist since 1987's The Living Daylights (only the fifth overall) and is the first Bond theme since 1965's Thunderball to be sung by a male soloist. It is also the first since "All Time High" (1983) — the theme to the film Octopussy — not to feature its film's title in the lyrics (Dr. No and On Her Majesty's Secret Service featured instrumental songs in their openings.)

.....Lyrics.....

If you take a life do you know what you'll give?
Odds are you won't like what it is
When the storm arrives would you be seen with me
By the merciless eyes I?ve deceived?

I've seen angels fall from blinding heights
But you yourself are nothing so divine
Just next in line

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you and I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you, are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name

If you come inside things will not be the same
When you return to the night
And if you think you've won you never saw me change
The game that we have been playing

I've seen diamonds cut through harder men
Than you yourself but if you must pretend
You may meet your end

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you and I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you, are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins

Try to hide your hand, forget how to feel
(Forget how to feel)
Life is gone with just a spin of the wheel
(Spin of the wheel)

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you and I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you, are you willin' to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name

(You know my name)
You know my name
(You know my name)
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name.....End

  • Le Chiffre didn't like this video

  • Very similar to the themes of the earlier bonds thats why i love this song

  • @ericksonkicksarse Yeah. That's the first Bond theme performed as a duet. And R'n'B sucks. This is among the best.

  • Worn out of this Nine to Five employment? Have a look at roulettecash (#) org to make roughly 1400 Dollars month for month through the net!

  • Connery set the standard, and will always be the definitive cinematic Bond IMO, but Craig was really good, and felt closer to Flemming's original cold, damaged version than any other actor I've seen in the part.

  • Best Bond in my view. His character is closer to original Bond. Aggresive and just bad ass. Broson's Bond was cool, but a he was a cape and cowl away from being Batman. Alot of high tech stuff.

  • best 007 film? mine is tommorow never dies

  • the song that plays when i step out of my house

  • This song choice was genius, Very Traditional "Bond-esque" song, similiar to the early Films

Reminds me of Tom Jones's Thunderball
