If he was a Yankee 21 would be retired.

Why his 21 isn't retired, I will never know. The time is now.A real man, besides a great athlete. They sure as hell don't make em like Roberto anymore

Retire his #21 and make a movie about this great man's life am sure it will be a blockbuster of a movie that will keep inspiring those who never saw him play.
-
If number 21 is not retired, it's because Roberto Clemente's memory and legacy will live forever!

#21 retire now!... When I was playing ball as kid on my team, older boy had #21 jersey, asked him if I could have it,,, he said no, and I asked, what would I have to do to get it,, he said fight me for it!.. no prob.. for 4 yrs, I wore #21 ... Roberto still miss you
no no no, do not retire 21....I agree that clemente was one of the greatest players of all time, but his accomplishments were for the Pittsburgh Pirates, not any other club, so leave the 21 on other teams

No no no... we are for retiring Roberto Clemente's number from MLB because he, unlike any other player in the history of baseball gave his life in a humanitaristic manner. He died serving the victims in Nicaragua... if you can name any other player in MLB history that has demonstrated such demeanor then feel free to make that comment... but until then the movement will continue.
