A recap of events and accomplishments from Ohio Patient Network in 2008.
Ohio Patient Network encourages all patients, doctors, and law enforcement officers that are in favor of the Ohio Medical Compassion Act, to submit a video or audio testimony that would be used to promote the acceptance and education of medical marijuana. We need to promote a positive approach to the legalization for medical marijuana in Ohio.
Points to think about when making such a video:
* How has your life changed for the better since using marijuana as a
medication? i.e.: improved daily activities, symptom reduction, and/or general well-being.
* How does MMJ affect your disability in a medical sense?
* If you are a friend or family member of a MMJ patient, what noticeable differences have you seen in the person who has started using MMJ compared to conventional pharmaceuticals used in the past?
We are looking for people who have good verbal skills and are willing to represent the medical marijuana community with pride and dignity. Your voice will be front lines for education and awareness that we need to present before groups who have an influence on bringing medical marijuana to Ohio.
Once we have collected enough responses, our goal is to produce a DVD we will be using at our speaking engagements.
Lets make a good impression for Ohio!!
